Contests around the net

I felt bad about the short post I wrote this morning and the fact that I don't know when I'll get my next entry up, so I thought I'd share some ongoing contests. I scoured the web for these, choosing the top five that I found and I probably didn't even scratch the surface.

1.) It's Bloggy Carnival week at Bitten by Books. There are lots of chances to win lots of great prizes, including entries to win prizes just by signing up for their newsletter or adding them as a friend on MySpace. Check out their website for all the contest details and discover all the chances to win. This opportunity only lasts through the end of the week which is why I'm posting this notice today.

2.) Midnight Seductions is hosting a Summer Bash August 1st through August 4th. They're giving away a whole basketful of goodies, including a $40 Fictionwise giftcard. Join their Yahoo! group for more information.

3.) For erotic romance readers, the Wild Rose Press is giving away digital downloads every day in August. Just head over to their blog each day and post a comment for your chance to win.

4.) Of course I don't want you to forget Long and Short Romance Review's one year anniversary party. It starts August 1st and runs through August 27th, and involves a scavenger hunt, featuring a different author each day. Make sure to stop by their contest page on August 18th to win the two free e-books I'm giving away.

5.) And finally, the greatest prize of them all. St. Martin's Press is giving away a Sony Digital Reader and a Sony giftcard. The entry deadline is August 5th and you can read all the official details here.
